Just when we thought there was no way to top that celebration, they went and celebrated their marriage in Santa Monica, California, with a post-wedding soirée as magical and fun as they are!

What inspired you to throw a post-wedding soirée?
Since our wedding ceremony was so intimate, we wanted to celebrate our marriage with all our closest friends & family who could not be there.
How did you make the soirée unique to you?
We excluded elements from a traditional wedding reception, like speeches and a first dance, that we didn't really care for. We added fun elements like a violinist, magician, and a game show host-like DJ who helped engage our guests in a really fun and unique way. We had things like a dance-off between various tables and a trivia game about my husband and me that helped everyone get to know each other/us better.
Favorite moments?
Seeing all of our family and friends in one room having a great time, especially the younger guests.
Advice for other couples throwing a post-wedding party?
Don't feel the need to follow a traditional format—go outside the box and incorporate elements that are important to you. Our main priority for this event was making sure our guests had a great time!
