Two hosts are better than one

Party planning takes time, which is why having a co-host by your side to help can be an excellent option. Evite offers hosts the option to add a co-host (you can only have one co-host per event) right to their invitation.

A co-host can do almost everything the original host can do: invite more guests, send messages to guests and manage the invitation. The only thing they can’t do is remove the original host and take over the event.

Co-hosting is perfect for events like bridal showers and baby showers, where the guest of honor (the bride or parent-to-be) isn’t formally hosting the event but commonly creates the guest list, as well as joint birthdays, happy hours, office parties and more.

Here’s how it works

When creating an invitation, click the “Add a co-host” link located to the right of the “HOSTED BY” field.

Enter the name and email address of your co-host in the respective fields (your co-host must have an Evite account).

After you have completed and sent out your invitation, your co-host will receive an email letting them know they’ve been added to your invitation as a co-host.
