There’s nothing more powerful than bringing people together to celebrate—and support—one another.
We’re always listening to our users and incorporating their feedback into platform updates to ensure a great experience for anyone who wants to throw a party. Throughout Evite’s 25-year history, our goal has been to offer invitation designs for every occasion. During this time, we’ve seen countless new event types emerge as people look to recognize all of life’s meaningful moments.
The launch of Evite’s Parenthood Journey collection—a category featuring family-building-focused invitations for IVF showers, Egg Showers, Rainbow Baby showers and adoption celebrations—marks an important milestone not only for Evite, but also for people who have felt underrepresented by the limited options available on the market previously. We acknowledge that there are no longer just traditional pregnancy events, so we worked to provide modern, inclusive invitation templates that empower the different types of family planning and make sure that each unique journey has an invitation to match.
But, like any good celebration, we didn’t do it alone. As part of the launch, Evite partnered with Kellee Stewart, an award-winning actress and fertility advocate who often shares her own experiences with egg freezing in an effort to bring awareness to a topic not regularly discussed. Kellee encourages others to celebrate their journey to parenthood by bringing support systems together to celebrate as well as assist with the costs of fertility treatments, which are not covered by insurance. As part of our partnership, Kellee helped design the artwork for an Egg Shower invitation, now available on Evite’s site.
A third of all U.S. adults have used fertility treatments or know someone who has. To be in a position to better support every journey to pregnancy and parenthood is a true honor, and we look forward to continuing to empower people to celebrate their own unique life journeys.
