Directions
For the Rice Krispie treats
Place parchment paper over a cookie sheet
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and salt to combine.
Add the rice cereal to the pot and stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Press mixture onto cookie sheet into a thin later, about 3/4 inch and let cool for about an hour, or until it's room temperature.
To assemble
Melt red, white and blue candy melts and drizzle on top of Rice Krispies Treats.
Layer kettle corn on top, making sure to completely cover the treats and melted chocolate.
Drizzle more red, white and blue candy melts on top of kettle corn.
Add patriotic sprinkles (or, if you don’t have, a medley of red, white and blue sprinkles suffices).
Let sit for 10 minutes for chocolate to cool and harden.
Break off pieces into serving containers and enjoy!
